    is that the oil pump seal leaking right behind the fuel filter cannister?

    That will be the Oil pump drive. Take the hold down clamp off(1 bolt) and pull the the drive out. There's a paper gasket under it but i have replaced it with a proper fitting 0 ring.

    I took another load down to the butcher last thursday. I pushed the tow/haul button,light came on and stayed on,..been working ever since. Sure affectted the mileage though, i used a 1/4 tank more than with the first load,..pretty near same weight at 19000 + lbs

    Mike I have 4 spare hasting oil filters for the D-max ,they came with the truck. I should be good for a couple years ;) But what is wrong with fram :???:,..been using them forever and never ever had a problem with them.

    I fired up my old 89 today after sitting since nov last year. Check oil and coolant,..all good. Turned the key to turn her over without using the glows to get some oil flowing to the bearings and fully expecting "click..click" cause of dead batts but instead she fired up right away and purred...

    Weird NV5600 clutch failure

    I would venture to say that the pressure plate diaphragm was uneven from day one and the cause of the trouble,.. might have been a dud diaphragm.ie:uneven hardening or bad metal from the factory. It would've caused uneven loading of the clutch plate which explaines the uneven wear of the plate...
