Good on you Slim, personally I think I would of probably refunded the money and not sent out a third unit and called it a day.
Perhaps the adage third time lucky will ring true.

I run Powerslot Cryo Rotors and Hawk LTS pads, definitely an improvement over stock. Which seems to be a combination that I read about again and again.

Just curious if one as Buddy says sets the TM for a minimum boost of say 2-3 for economy what would the max boost be? Anyone got hard numbers on this?

There is a reason why Standard is the overwhelming majority in the UK and Europe. ;)
Also as an interesting point in the UK if you pass your test driving an Auto you are not endorsed to drive Standard. You'd have to retake the test in a standard for that. Makes sense to me, It makes me giggle...
Alright guys lay off, I'm well aware of the issues of running a tank low, after all I work with large fuel tanks on ships for a living. You wanna spend a day constantly changing out racors in rough seas with a tank that hasn't been cleaned in a while. It's always somewhat amusing to be...
Yep not a fuel saving measure, merely a silly mental cannot stomach the numbers thing when filling her up. Though come to think of it I guess I could just keep her full in $50 shots instead. :D Also from a mechanical standpoint smarter than running low and sucking up the dregs!

Before I start worrying about this, will a loss of fuel cause the throttle warning light to go on. Going uphill a short steep ramp, fuel tank low I experienced a momentary almost stall, which due to the conditions I very much suspect is due to me pushing the limits of my fuel tank. However I...
Filter numbers are as follows:
R90P - 30 micron
R90T - 10 micron
R90S - 2 micron
Go to this link and you can download the manual for it with the filter chart...
Mine was hard to get off, so I changed out to a Stant Lever Vent style. No issues and is now easier to undo.
10330 was the part number I think.

Umm did you read my post fully? I have a Trim Badged 2500 Suburban with the SF. This phenomenon of incorrect trim badge on the burbs has been noted in the past in other threads/forums. Unless this part of the discussion is semantics in that you are using the term 2500 figuratively to refer to...
Just a note do not go by 1500/2500 badge get underneath and look. There are 2500 Diesel suburbans out there with the 9.5 SF/3.42 rear end I have one for starters and in prior such discussions others have chimed in to the same. As far as I am concerned the 1500/2500 labeling is a lottery when...
98 in a 96 I would say possibly not a good fit. I say this because when I was talking to Autoenginuity about some issues with their scantool program they informed me that there was some OBD1 stuff in the 96 and 97 units specifically ancillary stuff such as the ABS. 98 was the first year for...
Already done it, Inline Tube pre-bent fit like the proverbial glove, there was only one incorrect bend on rear line that I encountered and it was easily dealt with plus IIRC I reported this to them so hopefully it has been dealt with.
If only everything truck related went as smooth/quick as...
Europe is 50Hz and is of no matter for a heating element. As already said in a series circuit the current remains the same, only for a parallel circuit does it add up.
It would work fine just like two 120 volt bulbs in series will work fine on a 240V circuit.

Well blowing a 6.5 has been done of course, I have no real input from the marine world. Sadly I have yet to come across a 6.5 in the marine field it just has not crossed my path. Wondering about the Australian set up and what mods their blower kit has for the drive set up. You'd like to think...
