1995 C1500 Suburban rear Drum Brakes Question

So I have a 95 Suburban that I broke a rear Break line in and Started replacing it
The Connection on the Rubber Hose was rotted out and all the Bleeder are frozen so I have to change the Rear Brake cylinders as well. Now I notice that the Drums are way out of spec (almost 13.2") so I need drums....
They are 13" with 3.5" area for Shoes (although it only has 2.5" shoes on it) and slide off a SF rear end.

My Question is are the 2.5" shoes correct for a build code JD7?
I called the Stealer and they used my VIN and said I had 13X3 Drums and they are discontinued from AC (thye were $400+ each)

Does any one know what drums and shoes I should have on this truck?

5 lug? 6 lug? 8 lug?

The Suburban is a C1500 with SF Rear axle 8 Lug Wheels and 13X4 Drums It has 2.5 Shoes but I'm not sure they are Correct and it should have 3.5" shoes?

Mine has 2.5" shoes also. Going to discs this summer. I've had enough of the drum BS.

As said 2.5 shoes for the SF. IIRC GM used a wider drum to deal with noise.

FYI, here was my experience with rear drums. http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/showthread.php?29240-Tightening-Rear-Brake-Drum-Retaining-Nut There's more info about the actual drums at the later part of the thread.

I ended up buying the drums through NAPA for $97/each, but later found the same thing was available from Autozone for $82.
