    Checking lift pump

This OPS doesn't look very old but the only thing I can find on it is the number 68 so it's hard telling what it is. I'm going to put together an order and get it from Rock Auto, Autozone can't even find it or the lift pump on their computor so they can order it. Mark

    1995 Work in Progress

I just took the intake off my 95 to change some fuel lines and do the FTB mod and there had to be a 1/1/2'' of dirt in the valley. This truck must have spent alot of time on dirt road's in Virginia, it was a state or county before I owned it. Mark

    Checking lift pump

As a matter of fact D2 the socket was just deep enough and the OPS survived intact it didn't take much to get it to fit. I'm going to put the extension hose on it so it will be easy to get to when it goes bad. Mark

    Checking lift pump

This OPS must be a metric, like I said before 1&1/16'' is to big and 1'' is a little to small but my little ball peen hammer conviced it to cooperate with my 1'' deep well. Mark

    Buddy's chips?

I"m New here to the forum but I sure don't see where Buddy did anything wrong. Buddy's been a big help to me as I learn about these 6.5's and regard him as an asset to this forum. Mark

Truck Find! Much needed tow rig!

What you say has merit GM Guy no salt and a dry climate does miracles for finding a solid body. My little 95 spent 14&1/2 yr.s working for the state of Virginia and the body is as solid as a rock, although the clear coat is gone on the top of the truck though. Mark

Truck Find! Much needed tow rig!

I guess it won't help I just pulled the atlas out and took a gander at where you're located and that's a pretty good piece over to Utah for you to travel unless you're feeling frisky and want to take a road trip. Mark

    Checking lift pump

That's where you pitch the 1/4 inch line coming from the fuel manager that's going to the IP and replace it with a 3/8 line. Mark

    Checking lift pump

I ordered a OPS extension hose from PMD so it won't be a problem changing if it goes bad. I'm going to go to the local Mack truck dealership and see if I can come up with the fitting's to do the FTB mod. Mark

    Checking lift pump

My lift pump isn't dead, what happened was the jumper I was using had a bad ground wire on it, both pair of my jumper's had bad ground wire's. The jumper's were new I bought them at a swap meet this past summer made in the USA, they just didn't tell you that they were defective. Mark
