Looks like a well done job. Three questions. 1- the way it looks to me, it looks like the filter housing runs a risk of being ripped off if you (not specifically you) were plowing snow and got, shall we say, "aggressive". Could just be the camera angle though. 2- with all the talk lately about...
Ok, I'll ask. What kind of LP is that? And those fuel hoses would be silicon?
I was thinking about braided steel fuel lines myself, but which ones? Russell? The ones summit racing sells, or aeroquip? Lots of choices here.
I have a friend who used to use WMO, cept he would blend it with a little bit of this, little bit of that. You know, some kerosene, some gas, etc... Now he makes bio diesel. Much better. Then again, he drives a dodge, and you know how them dodge guys are...LOL
Just a quick question here, do you think you'd do any better with regular ole #2? And a hx35 or hx40 turbo? Or the electronic ip? Ok, guess that was a quick 3, but whos counting...
IIRC, didn't Turbine Doc ditch his intercooler after he added the ATT? Again, iirc, he did this because the att was more efficient and no longer needed it? Don't recall all the surounding ins and outs on this though.
Also thinking outloud and correct me if I'm wrong (sure of that), but if your dumping 100 psi vs 50 psi of fuel, with a stockish pop pressure, how would that affect engine rpms? Do you mean like a torque band, so to speak? Or top end rpm being reduced? Definately sounds like if you squirt 2X...
Another potential issue that I could foresee would be steering shaft clearance. It would be a trade off to either keep the stock shaft in place, or have to some real fancy fabricating to keep the runners the same length on each side off the engine. Hold on a sec, if each turbo is independent...
Quick question here. If we want more volume of air vs. pressure, would the ATT possibly not be the best option for use as twins? Not sure on this one. Then again, maybe two ATT's would in fact be the best. I'm wondering if two smaller hx turbos would be closer to what Bill (Heath) did.
My former bro-in-law has a machine shop and he has to send diesel heads to another shop to "grind" because of the precups will tear up his milling machine. I'm just glad we still get along pretty well.
