Give it to MrMarty. It seized at idle speed from external oil loss. Block and some of the components may still be good. I have no use for it, but I can do my break in miles meeting up with Marty.

Yesterday I crated up the old 506 engine.

Use only a light application of grease on the lip for installation. Packing it with grease does nothing, as it will wash out with operation.

Just need to install the crossover pipe to start it, but we’re going to take a break today.

Dumped the crossover pipe on my face. Headed to Urgent Care to likely get it sewn up.

There is I got the plug back to its proper place. I was wondering about this as the rear sensor was filthy inside. A filthy female socket. The amount of time I lost trying to figure this plug out….

Actually repaired the VSS with a pigtail and Paveltolz’s notes say yellow and purple. I just know that purple was the left side when staring at the plug.
