    I won’t be back up to Montana until end of October or early November. I don’t have the time to go through old motor and figured you would have better use for it.

    Give it to MrMarty. It seized at idle speed from external oil loss. Block and some of the components may still be good. I have no use for it, but I can do my break in miles meeting up with Marty.

    Use only a light application of grease on the lip for installation. Packing it with grease does nothing, as it will wash out with operation.

    There is I got the plug back to its proper place. I was wondering about this as the rear sensor was filthy inside. A filthy female socket. The amount of time I lost trying to figure this plug out….

    Actually repaired the VSS with a pigtail and Paveltolz’s notes say yellow and purple. I just know that purple was the left side when staring at the plug.

    Thank you for the pictures, they are extremely helpful. The circled plug was plugged into what you are calling the transfer case VSS about where the red arrow is. Based on another video and confirmed by your picture, it's position in the harness relative to the large grey plug below it...
