There is I got the plug back to its proper place. I was wondering about this as the rear sensor was filthy inside. A filthy female socket.

Actually repaired the VSS with a pigtail and Paveltolz’s notes say yellow and purple. I just know that purple was the left side when staring at the plug.

The circled plug was plugged into what you are calling the transfer case VSS about where the red arrow is. Based on another video and confirmed by your picture, it's position in the harness relative to the large grey plug below it...
