Unpleasant after taste. Har!
Hardly at all. A pint, maybe.
Big issue was it running hot. The trailer was so loaded I thought a tire might roll of a rim when I had to turn tight.
Went direct through the night, a couple nap stops. Now I'm all awake even though it's been a day and a half. Should...
We'll, it's got all the cooling add on, pump, fan, oil cooler, trans cooler. Nim towing a heavy trailer. Only thing left is water wetter I guess. Maybe turn the timing back a hair?
Hello,
Running the interstate, temps are up above 230 uphill, foot to the floor, and 15psi boost.
This is up for om 10psi boost and unburnt fuel in the exhaust. Did I go to far advanced?
Wow, your the happy camper bearer of good news!
I bought the line from known venders. The t's are better than the vacuum tubing t's I had to use before this. If you can find the right sizes in steel, let me know please.
Didn't make it out today. Found my gauges going whack. Lots of stress, lots of testing, found resistance in a ground.
Pulled a flat tire and pulled a nail out of it, put a plug in.
Ran all new wires to the brakes. Separate wires to each brake so if any wire fails, the other brakes will still...
My cb is great. Boosted, and expanded bands. I have to avoid those bands as I'm not licensed, but I'm allowed to listen to the silence that is usually there. Amplified output, so no amp'd mic.
Funny how it almost sounds like an engine and transmission description, "boosted and expanded bands"...
Big ass ol one piece whip antenna to reach out there a bit more. My question is do I need an especially heavy mount for it, or can I use the simple aluminum angle bracket I have?
Also, should I bend it and secure the tip or let it fly?
I lost the top half of my tuneable antenna on the first...
Tomorrow, on the road again.
Turned up the pump timing. CDR fixed, hopefully. Steering cooler in. Hydro boost in.
Trailer hitched, breakaway battery to go in and wiring to be checked.
One fuel tank issue hopefully fixed, wiring at the tank valves was very steering fluid soaked and loose as...
The new hydro boost is in. I plan on plumbing a cooler into the steering return as I figure it likely has a constant, steady, flow.
I plan on an oil cooler behind the driver's side unused headlight opening with a puller fan.
I thought the same, but on my 6.2 it went into the old round, carburetor type air filter can, I think outside the filter. I had mine plumbed into the silicone elbow, post filter, pre turbo, and it was guzzling oil. I unplugged it and it had normal minimal oil loss.
Before I put a hole...
I got my new cdr. Should I plumb it to the air cleaner housing, or inside the air filter plenum (before the filter)?
If it goes outside the filter, do I need a filter housing, or can I just end the hose next to the filter?
Here are pictures and labels of the parts to make your own injector return lines.
Bottom fitting takes a hose from each injector bank and connects them to a 1/4 inch hose. # RT-3-3-4
Next fitting connects that and the pump 1/4 inch return to another 1/4 inch hose.
# TUBJ-14-BN
Last takes the...
Intake back on and new wmi pump here and in. I sealed all the seams by taking it apart and rtv'd them. I'll put a bucket or similar over it to.
Advanced the timing and loosened all the injection lines and brake cleaned the fittings, then retightened them. Those tools I bought were just the...
