My volt meter is showing just under 14 volts while running, using a test meter my batteries are showing 19 volts, okay so the factory gauge it wrong, no problem, But I'm gonna fry shit up and I really don't want to. can I adjust the voltage regulator on the alternator?

well. i didn't know what to do so i just replaced it anyway. it WAS THE ORIGINAL, it was $63 at advance, got the severe duty one, cheap insurance, so it's in, and runs 190, to the floor up to 210, but right back down to 190

i think my fan clutch is bad, when i start the truck it's on immediately, not just spinning, but ON i rev it up and its definitely pulling air, it never shuts off
