How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

Going to get crow foot wrenches to tighten them now, I really hope the fittings are just loose, I mean, what the odds the lines failed? I'd hate for it to be the case, really hope its not, even then, would hate to try and find decent replacements

IDR who but someone in this forum suggested that one of these wrenches would get into those impossible to get to line nuts on the IP.

I added this to My arsenal of 6.5 tools.
Yesterday I got the chance to try it out.
I was able to get the flex end onto all of the lower line nuts and then using a larger square pry bar on the non flex end was able to get the line nuts snugged down one more ugga dugga so that meant the line nuts on My pump was all quite tight.
If the line nuts on Your pump are 19mm/3/4” then this would be the tool You could order.

Stick a wrench on it and double check the tight of the thing.
Not worth the frustration of the steady drip drip drip.
Cheech and Chong found out.
 
Woohoo! Love it when a fix is just tightening something up.

The reason the other intake manifold is better isn’t just to stop the flow of exhaust from going into the intake- but to stop the heat.

The exhaust goes against the intake everywhere and gets it stupid hot.
Think about a charge air cooler. It makes more power and better mpg, helps keep the engine from overheating, etc. the exact opposite of what is wanted is what the gases getting to the manifold to make it hot does.

1994 K3500 extended cab dually

Time to start a new truck thread......this past weekend I got a new truck, a 94 K3500 extended cab dually. I've been needing a more comfortable truck for hauling - the 90 F350 4x4 IDI, wasn't comfortable and being non-turbo was seriously lacking power. I had planned to add more power to that...
