Need Opinions: adequate LP PSI, 95 C2500HD

how much more would it cost for said big ol ground wire? I dont want to ground to the frame either. I plan on running 93 spec AC delco LPs for a while. all trucks are relatively low output for work, until I get a hot rod in the bunch, I dont forsee anything other than a 93 Delco.

also, how does your harness get its power, and if you do provide a ground, would it run to the battery ground?

where does the relay mount? can a guy use any factory locations?

120 sounds decent. not cheap, but quality isnt cheap, and I accept that. as long as its USA made, I am happy. :)

thanks!

Does not really make since to run a ground any further than the frame, But it will terminate at the frame, you can cut the terminal off then run it wherever you like.
You wont need to change anything on the original style pump. I'll leave enough wire so the ground can be secured to a factory hole in the frame.
Relay mounts close to the pump and get it load side power directly from junction block on 92-94 and Terminal "a" under fuse/relay box for 95-2000.

Leroy, do you have an approximate date of when your harness will be available? In a few weeks I'm planning a turbo, lift pump, and full set of gauges install and I'd really like to add that harness to the list!

Pretty much right now. Just got back to USA so Im ready to roll again. You'll need to email me for an invoice for now.

Leroy, I haven't forgotten the harness, do you have any customer feedback on how it works yet? I know it's early but I've got the funds together now and looking to see how it's worked out for people.

Thanks

Ive sold about five so far. Don't know if they were members here? if yes please post up.
I run one on my Burb and its working perfect still.

Thanks for the prompt reply, I'm looking forward to hearing more feedback. Pretty straightforward install? No modifications required?

Its plug & play except ground wire. You need to mount the replay to the frame or zip tie it. Ground wire to frame. Thats it. About a 15 minute job.

got some pictures of it yet? :)

I may be needing to order another heatsink and cable for reasons related to the act of bargain hunting, so a lift pump relay cable could be thrown in as well.

Would you be willing to do a custom cable with the ground coming up with the supply to go to the drivers side battery or to the engine where the ground cable goes on the drivers side? If so, how much extra? I dont know why, but I am convinced I want that puppy grounded up in the engine bay somewhere. :)

If anyone here is one of the lucky 5, please let us know how you liked it.

thanks!

Hopefully I'll order one this week, I've got a Carter LP ready to go on and I won't put it in unless I have a LP control harness too...

Fast shipping as always, I got the harness today! I've got to say, I'm really impressed with the quality of work on this harness, everything looks really nice! Pics:

If I'm lucky (which I'm not!) I'll install it tomorrow, otherwise it might take till next weekend...

I did forget to include a fuse (15 amp). I remembered that I forgot it right after it hit the APC recepticle at post office.
Any questions let me/us know.

Thanks.

Yes for you I'll run the ground up to the engine.

Havent forgot about your generous offer leroy, just kinda laying low waiting for a check to make it to Discover, and a few checks to make it to the bank. :)

Where in the engine bay would you recommend grounding? direct to the battery, or to the engine where the drivers battery grounds?

the hot feed comes from the underhood electrical center, correct?

where is a good spot to mount the relay?

Thank you!

Leroy I have 2 kennedy setups and they work great but would be willing to give yours a try on my 94 burb. The only thing I dont like is the ground on the frame. One big reason is I live in the land of salt and rust. When I do wiring I run the grounds to the battery or engine where they are better protected. I have found in my environment it saves time and money in the long run. Instead of trying to chase grounding issues later down the road.
