HOw bout a 41 willys with a blown big block. That would be awesome in a straight line!

A distant cousin of mine (my parents age) had exactly that (think he still does). It was tubbed, blown BBC, custom 2 tone paint, the works. The cool thing about it was that he built it pretty much for his whole family. You'd see him in it at shows sometimes, but then you'd see his son once in a while cruising it, wife, daughters, their boyfriends, etc. That car was always out with someone different in the drivers seat. I'm all for having a nice, rarely driven hotrod, but thought it was cool that they actually used theirs-especially being such a rare item. They must have had an understood rule too b/c they'd get in it once and a while, but no one really ever beat the crap out of it.............at least out in public.

1969 Chevelle SS 396 w/ 454 ci engine. Red with Black stripes. It's always nice when you and your wife share a favorite car. Will make it a little easier to get it since I won't have to talk her into it too much.

A very close second for me would be 1963 Stingray Corvette 327ci/360hp FI V-8 w/ the split rear window,. Also in Red.

Gonna hear that a lot.

Mine was a 1967 Chevelle SS. 396 Bored, Balanced, Hirise intake, Holley 1050. Muncie M22 Rockcrusher, Mr. Gasket Vertical Gate Shifter, 12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears. I was the baddest boy on the block. And the cops hated it, back then they were driving those early 80's LTD's pushing what, maybe 150 hp. We would be racing on the weekends they would show up everybody take off in different directions, man those were the days. Of course I would not condone such behavior now, especially since I have teenagers.:biggrin5:
Same here!:D

Still got my dream,66 chevy 2 L79 with a few Xtras:D that runs 9.30's in the 1350.
also restoring a 72 chevlle "heavy chevy"with 572 6 speed,an very rare yf3 car.
of corse the 572 and 6-speed are not factory.

How about one that will be coming out later this year: the 2009 ZR1 Corvette. 600+ horsepower LS9 supercharged 6.2 Liter V8 with Eaton TVS Supercharger and intercooler. Ummm, yeah, just slightly fast!
