Do you think most of the blame is on DSG for not packing it good enough? IMO for what they cost, they need to be in foam.

Yes, it was taken care of very quickly by Kennedy and all it took was a few pictures to get a new replacement gearset.
Will not speculate how the nicks occurred and the original box did not indicate any trauma. The replacement set did arrive with extra bubble wrap.
