Well since I bought it in january here is what I've done and it still needs much more..

New Injectors
New tires
New shocks [rear]
New dmax fan
New radiator
New HO water pump
New REMYAlternator
New extended range headlight bulbs
New 6 way custom tune
Used gm8 turbo
New [2] serp belts
New crank pulley isolator
New P/S pump
New AC/COMP
New receiver dryer
New expansion valve [rearAC]
New Orifice tube
New idler pulley
New Glow Plugs
New Gauges, Three pod pillar, TRANS,BOOST,EGT.
New batts. [2]
New thermostat [GM]
New PMD
New PMD extension cable
Also numerous oil and filter changes but that doesn't count, atleast to me . You do that on any vehicle.

I might have forgotten a thing or two but you get the idea. Still need new front end and brakes all around 4in. D/E in the spring. and...........................

I'm not bitchin because I still spent less than what a truck payment would be, and anything with 200.000 plus will need parts. Believe it or not It still has the original IP, and lift pump.

Low $$$ to freshen up a serviceable vehicle, and extend it's life for how many years more ???

Especially since I picked it up for 1,400 bucks because the owner needed cash or thought it was junk because the vac/pump lines were broke and it wasn't boosting and blowing black smoke.:agreed::hihi:

Made alot of money behind this faithful rig in 2010. I hope she lasts forever!
Plowing, and I work out of it. Mobile shop.

D-Max Fan
TDCO -1.94
Flexplate loosened up... needed to separate trans to fix
7 of 8 lug nuts snapped mysteriously on rear tires... fortunate to make it out of that cleanly
Tires
Oil

Almost to 150k miles. Bought it at 85k. I love this thing.

above list reminded me of bubba(forest gump) when he was summing up his shrimp recepie's :hihi:

I bought it in February as a rebuilder with 221K miles on it. The P.O., a friend at church, slid on ice and kissed a tree with it last December. He didn't feel like he wanted to do the repairs so he helped me get it from his insurance--cheap.

The drivers side frame horn that supports the radiator core support and bumper needed straightened. (bodyshop)

Went junkyard hopping for:

core support
hood
drivers fender
bumper
Radiator -- all brass, don't like it
Dual therm crossover -- stock single therm crossover was broken

New stuff:

Bosch duratherm glow plugs
Bosch injectors
DMax fan
Heath low temp fan clutch
2000 HO balanced flow water pump
4" Diamond Eye exhaust
CS 144 140 amp alternator (replaced 100 amp CS130 alt)
Brake hydrobooster
DTech PMD--relocated to core support below radiator
Glow Shift gauges--boost, EGT, tranny temp, fuel pressure, H2O temp
AC Delco OPS and extension
Two new batteries
Starter
AC pump
AC condensor and dryer
Carter 4601 lift pump (much better than stock LP)

Mods done:

OPS relay mod
TCC lockup mod
All four on headlight mod
Romote PMD mod
Changed overhead rear interior light to later model light with bullseye lights
Added short overhead console with bullseye lights and changed junk pocket over to hold two gauges
Feed the beast mod -- still need to drill out fitting in IP yet
Lifted fuel manager up to higher level from stock position
Ran fuel line from FFM to IP outside above the intake manifold
Vacuum pump delete
Boost fooler -- P.O. to my P.O. had already added turbomaster and did the intake snorkle delete
Replaced stock oil cooler lines with hydraulic hose

"Someday soon" mods:

Dodge towing mirrors--will require new wiring as current mirrors are manual
ATT
Multi-tune chip

Hopefully I remembered everything

Don

PS--I replaced all battery cables with 2/0 Welding cable, would have prefered something besides welding cable but thats all I was able to find locally.

Are you looking for the OEM center caps for the steel wheels? I am on the verge of changing out to the forged Alcoa wheels and have a complete set of the stock center caps for the steel wheels, plastic lug nuts and stock lug nuts.

New battery, starter, alternator wires made from 2-0 welders cable
New batteries
New starter
New Alt
dmax fan
98 fan clutch
injectors
Bosch Duraterm glow plugs
transgo shift kit
new accumulator
new high side service port
new hvac head unit (control)
fixed melted fan wiring
heater resistor
new front fan
replaced light bulb behind light switch (that bulb was elusive!)
Feed the Beast
KOJO chip
installed gauge trio (pyro, trans temp, boost)
repaired wiring to hitch light
had passenger front seat recovered
removed 150 FEET of superfluous wiring from under carpet and frame (yes, 150 FEET)
v band clamp replaced on exhaust
repaired/reclocked the fuel and oil pressure gauges
PMD cable replaced
removed vacuum pump and brackets
installed shorter accessory belt
harmonic balancer replaced...

Oh... and orifice tube, front rotors and pads. Not the most fun job on 2500 4x4...

And since August have only had to do oil changes. I did all I could this year to get it dead nuts reliable as I very nearly had to live in it (job loss). It was a worthwhile endeavor. 346,000 miles and it is driving like a dream!

1: Unplugged it.
2: Uncovered it.
3: Drove it 5 miles to the gas station.
4: Put in Fuel Treatment.
5: Filled up tank.
6: Drove it 5 miles back to mom's house.
7: Covered it back up.
8: Plugged it back in.

Started the year with three trucks (91, 91, and 95)
just did engine oil and filter on the two 91s 95 still dead

bought the 96 with assistance from parents (2,325) plans of buying them back out of it, plans went to heck after miss, good thing old man loves the pile! :)
changed oil, got a pmd kit and oil cooler lines and vac pump from PMDcable.com
(still need to do some diagnosing of vac system.)
bought a K47 from restoguy
ran all over, changing oil at 3-4K wix or baldwin, rotella or delvac, greasing all the time
dad fell in love with fuel economy, motor started missing at idle, blowby still horrible.
dad bought out my share of the truck, and still runs with the miss (much more local now) might buy the POS back (I had a good fall and summer working, which explains the following) its a love hate thing with this truck...

after a good summer of combining:
the 99 chassis cab with 11 foot service body: $1,650
122K, came with near new toyo ats 235/85. debating about going back to 225/75 (arent I just the weirdest kid you guys know? :D )
sat till november, no need, no more money
after fall harvest, funds restored!: delvac, all filters, new fuel caps (diesel spec of course, had two gas caps on it), greased, etc
been running a little, runs like a top 16 empty, 12-14 loaded

after fall harvest as well: 94 diesel suburban, texas originator, now in desert dry boise ID 300K miles, 01-08 alloys blown cooler lines, owner keeping injection system, $1,100 (and of course a runner popped up for 2750 in texas)

and also after fall harvest: 99 engine with K47 and GM8 included (came with all but alternator and alternator harness) a 91 6.2L and the truck it came out of (700R4 went south) may rebuild truck with an NV4500 for a mudding/screw around/winter beater rig. and a 99 2wd dually front clip and a 94 long block.

plans for 2011:
1991 gas:
clutch, intake gasket
1991 diesel
fliters, fluids, fuel leak, body work and paint front tires, hopefully fluidampr
1999 diesel
ftb, guages, fluidampr, exhaust

hopefully get the 94 burb and 95 HD fixed and on the road, and maybe buy the 96 back and stab the 99 engine in. 99 engine may go in 95. 6.2L shortblock looks to be the ticket in the suburban.

I highly doubt I will be able to make enough money to do all this, so the list will probably be shortened. living in a cheap rent house, going to cheap school, and no GF should help that along though. I figure I better get it done while I can divert my income almost soley into the fleet. a buddy's married brother told him and I: buy the truck you want before you get married, because the truck fund turns into HER house fund.:D
