I have new G/P'S, good batts, good inj.s and good grounds.

The G/P controller cycles the right amount of time but fails to start the truck for the first start of the morning.

Could the controller be bad or am I missing something simple,ie, cheap that could rectify this issue.

Yes. Same as batt volt/ 12.89

do you have any fuel leaks? even if it is not leaking, it could be pulling air... or bleeding back from sitting..... my advice is to check your FFM..... maybe they didnt have the same problems as the square box style did with air and bleed-back, but it is worth a shot....

It's getting fuel because it blows white vapor smoke that smells like raw wiesel fuel.

It doesn't even try to kick though just spins over like it has a bad pmd.

And also every other start takes a few seconds versus the 1/2 second immediate start before putting in the optimiser.

Engine related? I doubt it but who knows.

Give this a try if ya have not already...place the truck in gear & turn & hold yr ignition switch to start mode & keep it there until the GP cycle turns off the GP's, this will run yr LP along with yr GP's on the 95 but will not engage the starter with it in gear. Immediately quickly after place the gear shifter back into park & try to start the truck. This will prime yr fuel manager & should push any air out of the system from a possible small leak.

Does it help if you plug in the heater?

I left the heater out because it leaked when I put the new motor in.

I need to get a new gasket for it, I just don't know where to get one yet.

But to answer your question yes it did start easier with the old motor when I plugged it in, even when it wasn't that cold out.

I have also pulled a GP after a cycle and it was warm, so it must somewhat be working.

Also after letting them cycle and not letting them recycle I put 3 drops [no kidding] of starting fluid through the IAT hole and it fires right up.

Try to prime the LP tomorrow am like I described above, it helps mine. I am going to mod my LP so it will run during the GP cycle like the 96 & newer do & also go through mine thoroughly to search for any small leak in the fuel supply lines & FM.

If priming helps ya might want to consider the clear tubing on the IP return to check for bubbles confirming you have air getting in somewhere...

glow plugs should get red hot. I would pull a glow plug and watch it get red and then you'll know it is working properly.

It could be that Government engine is paying you back for using red fuel.

Now that you know the engine will run and has a good CPS, if it wont start try unplugging the OS. It may take 10 seconds or so of cranking but might start that way in limp mode once it recognizes OS is not reporting at all. That could be because of the dyed fuel, or air bubbles, or maybe the OS "eye" needs to be cleaned off. I have heard of people removing it, and cleaning it with real gentle stuff and reinstalling and it works better.

Still no start first start in the morning. I know I'm getting fuel.

I will check the entire glow harness and see if all the G/P are getting trons.

If they are what else can I check. The only thing that I know is left would be the OS, since I just put a new CPS in.

Open to any suggestions. Thanks
