That's news to me.. Not defending NAPA, but what was the failure? WIX used to be all made in Gastonia, NC. What ever in the world happened?

Yeah- first I heard of wix/napa gold issues. They are my go to for everything.

Both filters, one fuel filter and one oil filter were blocked somehow and didn't allow fluids in.
I noticed when I removed the oil filter that it was dry.
The fuel filter on the 1975 Ford Backhoe worked a little and quit.
A search revealed several others having the same issue.

Misspoke there. Drop the first *5* so for instance a WIX 51515 is a longer oil filter for the Jeep 4.0. Then in the NAPA gold it's 1515.

It used to be about the same for Carquest too. before Advance took over and overran it with the purr-o-later filters.
