anyone have issue with theirs? my washer started gradually working worse and worse and finally started peeing on the glass. replaced the pump but no joy. happened to be messing around looking at things and noticed I could push the nozzles further in. proceeded to do so and then they worked fine. now every 2-3 months I have to push them in again. kind of a PIB

icicle getting stuck in there? I'm so funny in my own mind...

No, my dually did that- I dabbed in a little epoxy and pushed it in. Then sprayed through a half a bottle of fluid to make sure it didn't plug up any that might have got in there.

I didn't, mine came out about 1/16-1/8", then I used a toothpick to dab on the epoxy. Thinking about it, I only used it 3 or 4 times after that before I sold the truck, so I can't really say how long it lasted. It worked for a couple weeks though.

Hey Les - On my old truck, I went to the wreckers and got some newer wiper arms (with integrated nozzles) then extended the hoses to those arms. I just got tired of playing with the nozzles coming loose.

What vehicle did you get the wiper arms from?

I honestly don't know, but it was a crapcan GM car... something smaller. I took one of my wiper arms to the local pick-a-part and shopped until I found some that fit. I did have different length wipers on the new arms than what was original, but it seemed to work good.

Hmmm.... Something I have ignored that I need to look at.

Presuming the arms fit our GMT400 trucks, look for the models that had the heated washer fluid system:

2006-2009 model year Buick Lucerne; Cadillac DTS; Hummer H2; 2008-2009 model year Buick Enclave; Cadillac CTS; 2007-2009 model year Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT; Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe; GMC Acadia, Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL; Saturn Outlook; and 2009 model year Chevrolet Traverse.

Only get the wipers / arms as the rest of the system was deactivated and bypassed under a recall.
