Who's been riding??

We got to Munising too.. stay at the Buckhorn.

At the end of last winter (like feb '07) I got an '08 Fx Nytro. It was a 'closeout' of sort. About $1,800 off since dealer rode it 300 miles in the UP. Still looks like brand new w/ 1,300 miles on it at the moment. Great power, nice ride, just still getting used to the rider forward thing. Feels tipsy compared to the vmax / srv's I had been riding.

Yep Been to the Horn several times. That's where we generally go unless they don't have any snow. I hear the Nytros are pretty nice. Haven't ridden one but some buddies have and they say they are very snappy for a 4-stroker. I'm think maybe if I can find a good used 08 Rev XP or a good used Mach Z. Dad's got one and that thing is nice and smooth.

Ridin Hi,
How much snow was on the Hill? I've been out there before. It's a fun place to ride. I've stayed over in Sand Creek and also a B&B on stillwater reservoir. The year I went the reservoir was down a little and there was a nice BUmp out in the middle that you coudn't see! That was fun in the dark at about 75 and when it was about-20!

Just got back from the U.P. Wed night.. Trails were great from Paradise to Big Bay and anywhere in between. Put 660 mi on my '08 Nytro in three days plus one morning. We saw no more than ten sleds each day and were still breaking fresh trails at noon. Almost every single mile of trail was glass smooth! If you want to do much off-trail they're isn't enough for that everywhere yet.. too many stumps sticking up still many places.

Going to be out for the first time next weekend in NH. I think this might be the start of many weekends to come.

We got 2 inches Friday. We are/were supposed to get 2 more tonight (which they now moved to 1/2 inch) which sucks. If we would have gotten 2 more we would have enough to ride as we haven't had enough yet this year. I am going to the Black Hills in Feb. I guess that will have to do.....

Tug Hill and the ADK's have been getting pounded, what a year so far!! Up to another foot today, braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap by friday!!!):h):h

The wifie and I just got back from her hometown of Millinocket Maine for the past 9 days. First time I have ever been sleding and I must say it was a blast! We rode a friends (two) AC 550 touring sleds. Felt very heavy to me, given he said they weigh about 800-900lbs. Snow was about waist deep or so and there are trails that go all over the place! Almost made me want to move up there:smile5:

I just got back from the Black hills this week it was friggin' awesome! They are having the best snow in 10 years out there. We rode about 120 miles per day. Now, We are in the middle of a snowstorm. I just measured 8 inches. Finally we got some good snow!

Just came back from another trip out to Wyoming(tog for those interested) After 3 trips im fully hooked... Given a choice of what I could ride every weekend trail riding would even get a second look I dont think. There's just too much fun to be had playing on rolling hills and carving up a nice powder meadow....
