I've got it down to a science foresure. I learn how to change one in less than 15min. don't ask how many times I've had to do it. The DD are alot tougher but the install is a PITA. the easiest way I found was to loosen the brace at the block just a hair. then you can slide to nose into the hole and swing the brace over the stud. it makes it alot easier when you only have to wiggle it to get the main bolts in.
I can't say I've ever dropped in on my head but the hands have taken a beating more than once.
