Where to buy relay sockets online?

As yet I have had no luck finding relay sockets with mounting tab in my area - I've checked in a 30 mile radious so far.

A local Napa carries one relay socket at a time - no mounting tabs - and when they sell it they order another.
That is the only source I have found so far.
Thanks

It's gonna be next to Impossible to Find the Socket with the Mounting Tab.

The Mounting Tabs are on the Relays.

Waytek, and yes one of their sockets do come with a mounting tab and a nifty feature that allows locking more than one together for a tidy install

http://order.waytekwire.com/product...Relay Connectors/Relays/Relays And Solenoids/
Item 75280 and 31073 or 32074

IIRC there was a minimum order though. If you like I could send you a connector or two if you have issues ordering, I believe I still have some on my truck, send me a pm if you like.

Cheers
Nobby

Thank you very much.
I've got an order in & I'll be ordering more.
I actually had an account with them several years ago but never bought relays or anything like that from them.

What do you need a socket for? have a burned up socket ? or some sort of aftermarket device install ? I normally just plug onto the relays terminals, but it would be a cleaner look to have sockets, keep us posted if you find a good source that does not require minimum order counts.

I just like the cleaner look of the socket and if you pull all of the wires off of a relay it's not terribly hard to get a wire swapped putting them back on.

Waytech's prices and quantities seemed fair enough.
The relay connectors are .70 ea. and a minimum order of 10. I spent more than $7 yesterday driving to 3 stores looking for them on the recomendation of each store before. Started at Midas for an alignment and the Suburban still pulls to the right

Anymore I try to order and have delivered as much as possible.
Shipping is almost always cheaper than actually driving to get something. I have a minimum of an hour round trip driving to get to anywhere that I can buy something. If you count your time worth anything ordering makes sense in a hurry.

Not to mention the local Napa charged me $8 for one socket without a mounting tab.

I purchased some Bosch micro relays and connectors from Terminal Supply Company. They didn't have a problem with a small order but don't make the mistake of giving them your real phone number unless you want to hear from them every few months.

You can get Hella relay mounting bases HERE . These do not come with terminals, so you need to order some of these as well. These terminals solder on to your wires and snap in the relay bases. Typically each relay uses 4 terminals, but I suggest you order a few extras. Once you get it all assembled, you will have a nice mount for your relays. You can remove and replace the relay without disturbing the wires.

Here are a pair of relays & bases on my Suburban. These are for the injection pump and lift pump. I also have a pair in another location for the headlights. I have been using these for years with no problems. One thing I do is always carry a spare relay in the glovebox. They all use the same relay, so only one spare is required.
