I'm shifting my thinking to going with a set of 35W 3000K HID projector fog lights instead of LED's due to the cost of a good set of LED's being so high. Where is a good place toi buy GOOD HID's at? Also it looks like one of my ballasts for my low beams is going out, so I may go ahead and replace them as well. Also I've looked at a few places and they talk about smooth capsules VS ones with a bubble in them, is there anything to this?

Looks like a voltage step up box for regular halogen bulbs. I found a set on Ebay Il ike for $65, but they are from a China seller and can take 2-3 weeks to get here. Not a huge deal, but would prefer to find a US based seller.

PM James(MadMax)

he can get them, and if he can't, he's got connections...

I can get them, because I sell the HID adaptors. The source I use buys from Phillips, but Phillips can't sell directly to him with the Phillips name/logo on his kits. Something to do with protecting their distributors???I don't know!
These kits are not the cheapest you'll find but are made here and in Canada (i think). I'd have to call for a price if you like?

Anyway I normaly prefer pepole to source their own as I don't want to get wraped up in possible warranty issues or the customer support on them.

I don't have much HID stuff anymore. Haven't really been Selling alot, not even Locally, so I haven't been Refilling my Stock.

What Size and Color do you want? I'll see if I have it.

I'm looking for a set of add on projector fog lights. Most of them I'm finding on fleebay are H3 bulbs. My current projector fog lights didn't last very well at all, and that is what concerns me about buying the $65 set on ebay from china.

Had those and Sold them. Beam Pattern Sucks, ALOT of Hotspots and not a uniform Pattern like you would think you'd get from a Projector.

That's what i figured for the price. Looks like I'll order a set of the HELLA's, and a set oof HID's in 3000K for them. I want to also replace my low beams as the drivers side doesn't always start up, they flicker sometimes now, and I would like to be able to listen to the radio with the lights on again. So where should I go for GOOD HID kits? I hear that retro solutions has a good reputation, but there stuff is quite a bit more than DDM tuning's. I just know I don't want another set that is going to shut my radio off, and I don't want to have to swap ballasts in another 2 years.

Whatever you do, DO NOT go with DDM. There's not enough Room here for me to Type how I Feel about them.

I've Used RS's Economy Kits in the Past. The Bulbs don't Last more than a Few Months.

Another place that has a Good Rep is this Place: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/index.php?cPath=32 yea, they're Expensive, but they come with EVERYTHING you need, to do it the RIGHT way.

What do you have left in stock James? I am looking for a kit that fits a 1999 Lexus ES300. Preferably 4300K.
I have had great luck with the other 2 kits that I bought from you. I run 1 in the regular head lights, and the other in place of my fog lights. They really light up the road ahead of you.
Other than the 2 calls that I placed to you for the install (My dumbness issues :D), I have not any problems at all. They are a great kit! :cheers2:
