I don't know if it was custom or was on another brand (Japanese I am thinking) but I know I have seen a solid, vertically sliding electric window. (Think old station wagon).

That might be something I would be interested in, but I am fine with the solid rear window - the 4 that open are plenty for me.

i have a slider on mine, and love it! on a cool day, i can open my window and the slider, and not worry about anything blowing around in the cab. i have no idea how that works, but it does. i have a rattle, but it is the plastic in front of the window. i've had it off, and must not have put it back on properly, or something.

Toyotas have 'em. I think the Tacos.
 
Those unhappy with the manual sliding rear window, have you considered the power sliding kit that GM offers? Here's an example of one on ebay. Item number: 370026043989

Perhaps the power one won't rattle, additionally it's probably more secure than the manual one.

i know the titans have a vertical power sliding window, like the brandy new GM's. seen em on a lot by me when i was lookin for my new rig. that was the same dealer who screwd me, by lossing my name 3 days before my dream truck came in on a trade:mad2:
