What to pay?

I've gotten a couple quotes on getting a SCIV installed and wanted to know how they compare to what others are paying. What is everyone paying for a complete install?

Getting the kit from Jim@ Upstate Diesel: He can price you one, as Suncoast price changes every now and then.

I'm going to be paying about $1100 in labor out the door, fluids, filter, and all.

St Joseph Diesel does it for $4000 and are authorized to do it at that price. Everybody else is between there and $4500.

So where is the best place to get a kit from? Direct from SC, Mike L? Are the prices the same?

here in GA, Garmon's diesel Performance is supposed to be the place to go. I called there and asked for a quote for the SC IV and he said $4700 OTD...

To high IMO..

I know a lot of guys are "good", but I'm not paying double the labor for the "name".

understandable, however he has a reputation at being the best in the area. He also stands behind his work and offers a great warranty on his work.

kinda one of those, "you get what pay for" deals IMO

I do completely agree.

I may regret going up here to KY and having mine done. This guy does all of TS Performance's Suncoast installs. Maybe he knows something.
