What kind of chainsaw do you use?

This is a multiple choice poll so chose more than one if needed.

Always looking for poll ideas post them HERE or send me a PM.......

I got a husky 55 (i don't know why there's so many models avalable).
I had a Stihl before, parts seem to compete with diamonds in price.

3 Husqvarna's

a early 80's 455. a newer rancher 455 and a small 350. would be hard pressed to trade for a Stihl. they are damn good saws, I just prefer the Husq's

(2) Stihls 390-26" and 250-18" Also an old Homelite. I had a BAD ju-ju experience with the Husky. Wouldn't want another.

I sold all my stihl parts to Trouttrooper, made him happier than a dog with 7 dicks,.....and me too,..i couldn't give them away around here

Got a Poulan Pro42. Whopping 42 CC and an 18" bar. Cut a little firewood and yard clean up duty is all the work it sees; plenty of saw for that.

One saw, came with the house, no crapola there. A heavy assed mid 80's Craftsman with a 3.0 ci / 76cc engine. It'll still pull a full chisel 3/8 pitch chain with a 20" bar. Manual chain oiler. Still starts, still cuts, still use her. Man, the weight will pump up the ol' biceps..

I've got an old McCulloch 10-10 automatic that is probably out of the '70s. What it lacks in power, it makes up for with sheer noise. ;) No sissy vibration isolation handles for me.

:rof: I have had or should I say used so many saws, that I can't list them. My father had a few McCulloch Pro's, and this giant saw called a Bobcat 440. It weighed a ton. My father would cut all day with that saw too. I have also used a Johnson(Red colored Saw). I currently use a Stihl 290 Farm Boss with an 18 inch blade, and a Husqvarna 345 XP with an 18 inch blade. Both are very nice saws and cut very well.

Husqvarna 51 on second carb. and had some deterioated fuel line is only problem in about 9 + yrs. Good homeowner small farm saw. I doubt any of the newer ones are as good as the older ones same as always they seem to be cheaping up most everything. Disappointed Husky's are sold in box stores (lowes and Northern) now. Therefore, not sure of quality anymore.

I have a staight shaft Stihl brush cutter / weeder and like both products. Heard good things about the Red - Johnsen sp?. Had a echo (small limbing saw) I liked 15 yrs ago.

Echo for the past few Years, but just got a New Ryobi Last Week.

Needed something with a Bigger Engine and Longer Chain.
