What in the world is this Fuel pump?

I think ACES is using one of those, it's way more fuel pump than you need. A Walbro FRB-5 is plenty and 1/3 the price.

Airdog makes one for the 6.5 with the filters. They also make one that has adjustable fuel pressure.

No gains unless your really pushin it.... Just for the 1% of us that will run a Heath H/O or a Walbro down to 0psi on WOT runs may be able to keep that a few psi above 0 instead. I'm not sure if having 0 or negative pressure at the IP has a slight effect on timing or not, but we all know its not good for the IP's to be sucking.

I use them all the time on my systems. I have one on my 6.5 but i had to mod the regulator i could only get it down to abut 12psi. I shortened the spring and now it stays at 7psi even at WOT

Well that sure makes it seem good! It seems they don't drop off like the other type of pumps do.

This pump is flow on fail too?

At least you will know when the lift pump quits... ):h

But 150 GPH!? Blow a fuel line and see how fast your tank empties out. There is such a thing as too much. The relief valve in that pump may be bigger than the 6.5L IP inlet!

I did a long write up on the Raptor and it's use on the 6.5. All the facts you need are in it and you are wrong Veg, It IS FLOW ON FAIL Trust me on that. I drove 200 miles with it not working thanks to a shitty wiring job from the scumbags at ee's Auto Ranch in Ellington CT. The Raptor is overkill for a 6.5 but it has alot of advantages over other LP's. read my write up for more info. I am runnning one on my CUCV with a 6.2 and i love the pump. It's kinda noisy but in a cool way.
You'll have to read the entire Lee's Auto Ranch Story but it's good reading.
