what glow plugs are you running and what do you think about them.

I run duratherms as well. Had them in a 6.2, a 6.5 and a 7.3. the 6.2 and 6.5 needed a glow plug override when running the duratherms. The ford works just fine with the stock controller.

They have proven reliable.
 
Oh, since most aren't familiar with Beru's, I just wanted to add that I bought them from Peninsular. My engine builder had been using them for some time and he was happy with them, so I used them too.
 
AC Delco's 60G's in the 6.2. But with a custom "prototype" smart glow relay. It is tuned to the 60G's thermal characteristics, with a large range time vs. temperature table I came up with from years of driving the diesel Olds I have. The two engines have similar characteristics. Works great, saves glow plug life. Likely I will make another and put it on the 96 when I get that on the road. On the electronic engines the relays computer overrides what the engine computer wants.
