That's awesome. I need a set of those mirrors...Where did you get them?

I'll have my Suncoast Kit soon I hope. Don't give up on me Jim. :D

Here it is in all it's glory. I'm not sure of the exact Precision name but it is suppose to be comparable to a 1058 from Suncoast. I didn't realize how damn heavy these things were. This is the second one to get sent out. The first one got wet and the box destroyed with no label on it. So here was a TC sitting in a UPS warehouse and no one knew anything about it. Way to go UPS:rolleyes:

I'll be heading over to Illinois Sunday to meet up with a couple members from DP that have experience doing this and the MA Pump rub. The camera will be getting fresh batteries to document the process. I'm looking forward to Sunday. Got to give a big Thanks to Mike L. at Inglewood Transmission. Been a big help answering my questions and getting this new one here quick.

Congrats on getting everything!

The picture will be awesome, can't wait to see them. Good luck with the build and everything!

they definately arent light. However Suncoast labels their converters as 73lbs but they weigh 61lbs fully packaged.

so after watching them do it, do you believe me when i say its really not that hard to do??

Yeah. It wasn't as bad as what I thought it would be.I glad though I had some one with experiance do it. Plus I met up with a couple members off of DP which was cool. Everything went pretty smoothly except for 2 things. 1 was we found one of the bolt holes cracked when we removed the bell housing. They must have over tightened it at the factory. In this pic here you can see where it was cracked.

Fortunutly we did this in a metal fab shop and one of the guys helping is an awesome tig welder and was able to weld it back on. We then retapped the hole so the bolt go in smoothly. He also fabbed up a transfer case brace similar to Suncoasts brace, so I put that on as well. Second issues was with the boost modifier valve that was sent. With 04 being a transition year, some changes where made to the trans as well. When I ordered my kit, no one mentioned or asked me which one I needed. All I would of had to do was pull the PTO cover off and look to see if there was a gear or not in there. We ended up using the stock one for the time being.

All in all I'm pretty happy. When I get on it I can really tell when the T/C locks. I'm running my Pred on 100H.P level now and can break the tires loose easly. Really want EFILive with a DSP5 switch though.

Awesome pictures Will.

Hope your enjoying it.

Had a set of Cooper Discover ST/Ts put on my Summer rims the other day. Also installed a set of tie rod sleeves that I built using Yaz's drawing.
