Warpspeed exhausts

Early on, I had a Banks Stinger on mine, was having some slight performance issues with the muffler Banks chose for their stinger kit, it was a reverse flow inside the muffler, and caused pulsations in the turbo drive pressure on hard acceleration, which caused rapid pressure swings in the delivered boost to engine, a 0-15 psi gauge is more sensitive than a 0-30+ psi, so I could see it when it was happening, shifted to a Heath full flow exhaust system and that ceased.

I don't know what muffler they use now, but wanted to share with ya'll looking for a less expensive option make sure system is straight thru flow, if gasses have to change direction inside the muffler, or thru many baffles in the muffler performance can suffer.

DieselCash I was shocked when i saw that it was included. I mean the 4 inch systems is about 300 bucks you can't get that from any one else.

So am I! I have been wanting this exhaust since I purchased my truck. I go home in about three weeks, maybe I can convince the other half to let me get it. Wish me luck! :D

I just installed the new 4 inch Diamond Eye system on my truck, I suspect it is the same as the Warpspeed. The downpipe was included, and if you are thinking of replacing exhaust without replacing the downpipe, be careful because they are not all the same. My Banks had a totally different type of flange as the Diamond Eye. The Diamond Eye has a nice ball and socket type of flange (for lack of a better term) so it is nice and adjustable while installing. Anyway, I paid under $300 from the bay with free shipping. How can you beat that? Only problem was one hanger was not even remotely close to working, but I got it tight anyway. I'm going to add a hanger someday to give me peace of mind.

Don't know about the gauge, but it looked like real good quality stuff, all aluminized and the muffler was fully welded. My Banks Stinger muffler rotted through at the seam after four years, which was a good excuse to straight pipe it. Unfortunately the tailpipe rotted through next, and then over this winter the downpipe totally rotted away. I also did what Chevylover did, mounted the muffler backwards so the internal louvers shoudn't interfere with the exhaust gases much. Not all that loud, I think it sounds good. Not quite as tough as my 3 to 3.5 straight pipe, but it's pretty decent.

This is the first vehicle I've ever kept long enough to change exhaust more than once. The factory exhaust came off at about 110k, the Banks came off at 165k, and should have been replaced a year ago.
If I get another 4-5 years out of this system I'll be happy.

The reason why its so easy is because you are replacing the DP also... No flange bolts to get through or anything else. Just the Turboclamp and thats SS and all the rest gets thrown away...

Can't touch warpspeed's price...
