There's something wrong then...my buddy just got an '08 and he gets 11mpg towing a lawn trailer around town all day. He gets around 19-21 at 55mph unloaded.

just delete it and be done w/it. save the stocker and get a tuner. simple easy and uncorks the motor to let it breath.
