Used HX40, Good Deal or Not

There is a HX40 locally for $200. They do state it needs to be rebuilt. Is this a good deal or not? Haven't seen it or talked to seller yet, but sounds to be a true Holset. If not would the rebuild make up for the knock-off factor?

Depends what model of the HX40 it is. They made a lot of variations some that were too big for the 6.5

HX40 is not wastegated, hx40w is.

200 is more than i would spend. Maybe if the wheels are in good shape and it just needs seals.
If the turbine/compressor wheels are trashed it will cost a few hundred for them alone.
