turbo to exhaust manifold gasket

Thanks for all the links and advice. I was just looking for info and quick sources. I'll be putting it back together stock and checking for leaks before I buy anything.
 
They also often use those spendy Wiggins clamps to connect boost pressurized plumbing. Those clamps are really slick but seem too expensive to fit most project's budget.

...And what clamps would those be?....Any Pics?

I'm told their big advantage for disconnectable/removable boost tubes is they come off super-fast/easy, yet will hold very high boost pressures reliably.

That Banks Duramax drag truck has a few of them if memory serves.
 
Very expensive indeed, but NICE!......The 3" assembly is $225.......Do you weld the ferrules to the turbo outlet/exhaust and the DP inlet to make a complete connection?

Looks like overkill for our application.....JMO
 
The Wiggins clamps I've seen were all made of aluminum & I don't think they'd hold up well at exhaust temps. I've never seen them used in exhaust.

The weld in V-band matching ends & clamps seal quite well & are reasonable enough in cost to justify using them in places where taking off the exhaust is needed once in a while. The V-band ferrules slip fit onto common exhaust tubing sizes, then just weld the ferrule to the pipe on the ferrule side opposite the sealing surface.
