Turbo Sound

I loved the sound of my gm4 with the gm8 hot side. It had this hi pitch scream when you flat foot it. That is the only thing I dont like about my ATT

I miss this sound, too. I loved hearing the GM-4 spool. Can't hear the ATT at all.

I think i had more whistle with my old GM-4 over the WH1C. But im always in the drivers seat, so it may be different from the outside.

Really? My gm4 is near imposible to hear. For the short time I had a cone style filter it was audiable but not loud. With the k47 airbox it is silent.

You know what, now that i think about it i had my old fenders on with the GM-4. Which there was hardly any fender there, you could almost see the opening for the intake box from the side of the truck. But when i installed the WH1C i replaced the fenders with new ones. Wonder if due to there being more metal there and more enclosed it might give it a different sound.

I also haven't boosted over 10 psi yet with the new turbo.

I have the silencer off of my wh1c and it sounded pretty loud (took it back off). My gm4 is pretty quiet but can be heard.

I had the gm8 got side with the gate bolted shut and at 25 psi It was screaming loud. I passed a friend in his truck and he claimed he could hear it scream from 3 car lengths back. I used to quietly pull up beside people on the highway and when I was far enough beside them so I could see the driver, I would spool it up and watch them look around. A few eve looked at the sky. I wish I took a video.
