Trik / Trick Edition?

Found a couple search hits on it. Looks like it was a company in Centereach NY called Automotive Trik that somehow moded the vehicle. The trademark died ~2006 and am not readily finding details on the company outside of the name and location.

Guessing all they did was slap some custom wheels on it and maybe the obsolete cell phone. I can see why they went under...

I like the cell phone. 1996 called and they want their phone back.
That ones modern compared to the one my dad had in his truck back in the day. He had one back in the 80's when they 1st started putting them in cars. I remember it had the handset up front, and a HUGE box behind the seat for it and the antenna on the roof. Couldn't hardly afford to talk on it after he had bought it. And those oh so good calls into a can with the static mixxed in. Sold it shortly after buying it to a TV evangelist of all things who ended up getting endited by the feds for tax evasion, and my mom had to go to court to testify about selling it to him. I think that's why my parents enever wanted cell phones for the longest time.

Thats funny.

Around 1984 we had a Radio Shack "transportable " phone. A big brick that was the size of a car battery and weighed the same (because thats basicaly what it was) It had a corded hand set. We thought we were cool! til the bill came. It was pricey back then.
