Trans Cooler

I like the sound of what that does. Never imagined an "over cooling issue". Leroy If you can keep us posted on if/when that comes up I may be picking that up from ya
 
I've heard of guys blowing up their trannys because the fluid was to stiff to go thru it. The newer factory style coolers have a bypass built in them to help alleviate this.
 
OK this is what I came up with. I do not stock these so I will take appox 10 days to get one to you.

Thermostat for transmission oil $65
Mounting kit with fittings $25

Mounting kit is not required, I zip tied mine in place, but you will have to locate your own barbed fittings (no big deal), but the mounting kit does make for a professional install.
 
Got OEM from the Dealer,Time was a big factor in my decision. Thanks again, Leroy.........This thread came along way, Thermostat = Great idea......Good angle Leroy, also another product thats not out there (Site dealers).........I'd buy one.....Still recovering from my current repair situation, at the moment.

Leroy I may buy one from you later on in the year when it starts to cool down a little again. It'll keep the trans happy for sure.

If anyone would like to buy a trans cooler or engine cooler from me I will include the oil thermostat for FREE!! My price is allready better than his and now I will include the oil thermostat.
I just made it my mission to try and never have greg make another cooler sale.
Also, I did respect him and never posted in behind him saying anything as we are both supporting vendors on DP.com (and he is not one here). Well that has changed to. I am going to be all over him, everytime he posts I will be right there to beat his pricing. What comes around go's around.

This is going to be great for the members here because you will get a great deal.
I am a big believer in "the principle of things" and now he has pissed me off, but the good thing is you guys will reap the benefit.

I will get this new offer up on the web site later tonight.

Yes they will flow if they fail. However depending on which way they fail means if its going through the cooler or not. If it failed closed while towing it could mean disaster and unless you have an oil temp gauge you will never know it.

IMO I think the low risk of failure is worth the long term benefit. The risk is very low. They build a great product. I trust one on my $15.000 540cid engine.
I will leave the choice up to the customer, Free oil thermostat (w/purchase of oil cooler kit $199.) OR $40 of the price of a cooler kit $159.

It should be $60-75 off since that is what you posted the thermostat cost earlier.

Guys, I am sorry you have to be put through this. I think it makes us both look bad/petty. (That is to say greg and I)
This guy is not even a supporting member here and all his posts so far have been nothing but harrassing to me and other supporting vendors here.

As far as your remark for taking $60-75 off. I think most pepole see right though your idiotic comment.
When I posted that as a business man I need to make a profit or whats the point. Now I am giving them away at my cost and selling a better cooler kit for less money than you do.
I will sell to the members here the thermostat at $40, thats even less than Summit's price.
