Mod still in progress, but here is the basic idea. Install a tow/haul shift lever with or w/o up/down shifting. Any shift lever from a 99 til about 2011/12 (not sure of cut off) will work.

 
Curious why you're doing this? I know the 6.5L ECM doesn't have tow/haul, and it definately isn't tap shift capable. I tried out a newer style shift stalk, but I didn't like how it looked with my dash and went back to my old one.
 
Thanks Ferm. Im going to put the OptiShift controller in it.
Will be able to set two different (tow/haul mode) shift tunes with it.
Also its capable of paddle shifting so I want to make the up/down button my paddle.
