Torque converter quitting?

I have something similar going on. When Im in drive and step on the brake I can hear a growl. I thought I might of had a broken crank, but the noise is coming and going. Tranny shifts perfect, no metal in either oils.

Isn't it your disc rotor growling?

Did you check your line pressures.....will tell you quick.....they are phrone for leaky shift boost valves

No it makes the noise at a complete stop, and a vibration. As soon as I start driving it stops.

Also no slipping, shifts perfect. I've noticed that the noise stops after I drive it for a while.

I have growling noise once hot, cold, it is quiet.

Shifts perfect, makes growl only when I suddenly release accelerator under acceleration, or when I shift from N to D or N to R. The worst growl is from N to R

Have you guys pulled the insepection cover off and checked for a cracked flex plate {flywheel}
