To the dark side I go

I don't go there much anymore as well. I just found this site with google by accident one day and have never looked back. Many of the original guys from years ago. Much more enthusiast based and open discussions. Keep it going!

I go there when I'm bored but after about 2 minutes I click back on my DTR icon. The community here is by far better, as is the tech help and forum regulations and no advertisements every other post and popping up (and down, and left and right).

Been probably a month since my last attempt. Sometimes I post into a 2 year old thread just to keep things alive. :)

BBC, I saw this thread, and thought you bought a Ford!

Welcome Big Blue, about time that you made it over here. DTR is like Mayberry RFD where everyone has each others best interest at heart. We can disagree and still be civil, welcome.

I know how you feel! i kept seeing people on DP talk about "the other site" or "the other turbo" because of the extensive censorship and China-like strict rules, it took me a while to figure out how to even get here!! but there sure are less threads about PMD's here....

Welcome Big Blue. You were the one who helped me diagnose a faulty wastegate solenoid on my Suburban almost 2 months ago at the other site. I don't know the politics or shenanigans going on between the two sites, but I do find this site to be comfortable for my needs which are to just keep my rig running nicely and cool and maybe some performance improvements down the road. I ended up here following a reference in an ATT thread at DP to the "other site".

My PMD is hot, I'm thinking of mounting it on my radio antenna, is this recommended?

This really is a fun site, very positive which I appreciate!

radio antenna is a great spot. Just make sure you don't attach a heatsink - they dont get hot. Oh, and drill some holes in it so that any water that getsin there can drain out
