:) Pay me now, or pay me later :)

Rodd, you sound like you have it all figured out. Personally, when I used to go to MY mother-in-law's, I prayed for breakdowns...

"Sorry honey, you know how these things are. If we could only afford a new truck, we wouldn't have missed overcooked turkey."

Bwahahahaa

I guess I shouldn't complain my FSD was the original one that came with the new IP the original owner in South Dakota had put on at the stealer in 1998. I removed it from the IP 3 years ago and put it on a large heat sink on the frame just behind the lift pump. Guess it was destined to fail after spending most of it's life in the engine compartment. ):h

And my wife keeps telling me to buy a new truck! I don't want to have a truck that I can't play with or work on; then what will I do for recreation???? Also my mother in law loves me, I actually go to see her and my brother in-law in North Carolina and enjoy it. We both agree short trips are nice, and man can she cook, I always leave with a few extra pounds.

Yea! The nice thing about my mother in law is she can cook. I just have to put up w/ her advice about parenting, work, watching too much tv, etc.

Last night I was working on the truck and she came out and said I'm glad you know how to work on cars. Wow no nagging.

Did you tell her it was a truck, not a car?

Ah, you're right... best not to poke the bear.
