Tire size?

Not a dually but I run 265-75-16's on the 95 and just ordered a new set of 245-75-16's from tires-easy dot com for the 93. I have found that 265's are too tall for the 93 with the 4:11 gears and the GV overdrive unit. 245's seem to do better on it.

the taller the tire, the lower your RPM will be. sometimes that is a good thing but if the gearing is too low then it can take it out of the power band and you have a harder time accelerating at a higher speed or pulling a grade. There are some good sites that will give you your RPM and speed according to tire size with trans and rear axle gears. I did a lot of research before finally deciding on the 265's for the 95 truck. being I had swapped out the 4:11's for 3:73's
