This is why I love Florida...

The middle of FL can get pretty humid, but withing 30 miles or so of the coast it isn't that bad. Where I'm at it normally gets to 60 or so % humidity, but there is almost always a breeze coming in originating from the gulf and it is pretty bearable. No head up north and you can experience humidity. The worst summer I have ever experienced was 99 in Kentucky. Was driving through and it was so hot that the alternator charge wire melted down due to athe load from the A/C and the 110 degree 95% humidity heat outside. Or 8 at night going through Missouri in the summer and still seeing 110+ for temps in the farm country where the air is stagnent. That is what a nasty summer is all about.
