THANKS Turbine Doc!!

The Turbine Doc traveling road show... LOL. Man, I wish I was closer... There just ain't anything better than paying it forward like Tim does!

You're the best, 'Doc!

Germany could need some help also !

Cu,
Sven

Will keep that in mind, it's a shame I wasn't into 6.5s back in the days I was traveling overseas a lot, since 1986 I've flown almost 2 million miles and have been to most countries in the EU at one point or another (lived in Italy for a year installing GT engines in power-plants), S America, Japan, China, Australia, Canada, Turkey, Greece, Singapore, Hong Kong

Saddle up the traveling road show heads South Tuesday 8-17-2010

Those that have been following the "misadventures of the TD road show" know I have been held captive in Western NY by evil educational forces since March.

I garnered my parole and am due to be released on my own recognizance and allowed to return home on Tuesday.

I have successfully completed all aspects of my steam turbine field engineers training school, now they expect me to go out & produce income for them :).

Before I head South I want to Thank all those I met while up this way for their hospitality and communion in the brotherhood of TTS, I'm sure we'll meet up again.

As I head South I'll be headed down East coast stopping in Norfolk Va for a few days, then thru the Carolinas, I-95 way, then to Atlanta, to pick up 85 S to 65 S then back to MS.

PM me with your number if you think we might get a chance to hook up, one thing I've enjoyed the last 2 years the traveling road show has been "on tour" is meeting & greeting those from the TTS family now, I'm up to 25 or so meet & greet folks.

SlimShady (Dennis) suggested I change my avatar subtitle to "TTS traveling ambassador" :D since I by default have been it's state department ambassador visiting foreign lands, and believe you me some things up here in the North East sure are foreign to this MS "redneck".

That said I'm glad to have been able to make the trip and meet so many of Ya'll even if we just visited on the phone.

Sorry guys I could not stop & visit those of you who contacted me for a possible visit on my return route to Ms, I had to hurry home, Monday I graduated from steam turbine U.

Monday evening at the graduation ceremony I was pulled aside and asked if I would be interested in teaching a portion of the course next week.

The school is short instructors, and if I was available and if they could not find another substitute instructor would I be interested in coming back next week to teach, so I hauled tail home without taking/making time to visit, maybe next time guys.

I'm still waiting for message to maybe return, but in meantime I'm catching up on face time with the family after 5 months away, and those "honey-do" projects that have been piling up whilst away.

Congrats on graduating, Tim, and on showing enough of the hard-earned knowledge/experience that they asked you back to instruct the next generation! That is impressive, my friend!

Glad you are home catching up on those jobs; letting them pile up isn't a great idea - it's like the Fram commercial... "pay me now, or pay me later".
