Turbine Doc and others had posted info on this and i had found a link for it online which got me here, and signed up.
That was a month ago or something. Since, i have completed the FTB mod on my truck. I have a stock TD.
My truck had a few slight differences but the basics of the mod were the same.
I opted to go the cheap route and used barb fittings on the FM.
I removed the spring coil from the heater in the FM.
I made my own injection pump fitting with some brass parts and made the 7/16 20 boss by die cutting a fitting. Cost $4
I included a viewer and a gauge allbeit the wrong pressure rating. Good enough for now.
Im new here so see if pics will work for me.
Really have to say thanks to the folks here on this forum. Great stuff and ideas!!

Oh and i cut the screens out of the secondary nylon filter inside the FM. I use a filter in the viewer upstream with better flow.
Also in the pic is the old IP fitting

I will throw a few pics of my ride in for good measure

Welcome to TTS!

It looks good, one thing it may load the lp more pulling that far from the fuel tank.

If you don't have an upgraded lift pump, don't be surprised if you need one in the future. I couldn't pull my fuel pressure down below 2 PSI, then I did the feed the beast and it pulled down to a vacuum. I was pulling the toy hauler and truck just lost all power and started sputtering, I pulled over and the lift pump was running, but when I opened the T valve it almost died. I let it idle for a bit and the lift pump caught up and it finally started running smooth. I babied it to Reno, bought a new lift pump. It kept up the rest of the trip and got me home. That was when I checked fuel pressure, and it would pull down to a vacuum. So I ordered the Walbro from Leroy. Been good ever since.

Nice rig, and welcome to tts. Yeah, we burn lift pumps in hummers quicker than the pickups do.

NVW, that is the stock location for the lp, not much real estate underneath.
