TCC Lock-up

I do wish this truck ran around 1800-2000 RPM around 65 or so.

You'd need to get down the equivalent of about 3.73 gears as that's right about where I turn. Whether you do that with an actual gear change or with tires, like Buddy mentioned, you are going to have a very noticeable drop in your towing power and the truck's "get and go".

Brooklyn Tow...real quick...since you have an HD...how tight is your exhaust with the 3" DP...I'm looking to get a 4", but not sure if I have the room, since its already really cramped with the bigger frame. Any thoughts?

3" Down pipe will fit right in there, no worse than a NON HD chasis......It's a "little tight but it wont rub/hit anything, make sure your motor mounts are healthy and she'll slide right in there.

Exhaust is the best mod you could do.......your gonna love it!

Funny you say something about motor mounts. The passenger side is junk, the motors moving around in reverse. Thats the plan for this weekend is to change it out...but I'm wondering if its easier with the downpipe out of the way.

Straight axle HD 2wd trucks are about the easiest. No 'junk' in your way. Use a backup way to hold the engine up. A cherry picker will do the lifting but really shouldn't be trusted with your LIMBS.
