Oil pressure great, but not liking the white exhaust smoke and roughness on acceleration. Should be showing blowby test along with compression figures for each cylinder.

Sound like a good healthy runner. wonder what kind of powerhouse they are or what they could be retro-fitted into?

Yanmar makes good diesel engines. Friend has over 8,200 hours on a pair of 230 hp Yanmar marine diesels. My tractor is a Yanmar.

I was chasing a good deal on one of those generators a while back.
Then was talking to a buddy in the Army about them. He said get a really good deal and buy two. That way I don’t have to wait for parts when trying to keepmit running. I didn’t get him-
He compared it to Mercedes. Most of their parts are readily available, but some of them are difficult to the point that buyers drive up auction prices just for parts on the military units.
Then he sent me a video a couple days later where they have them all set up.
Know what they have for SHTF moments? Honda generators because they can get gasoline easier than the parts. He said they can’t do it when they deploy - but then they just take 4 times the amount needed.
Over all they are a great design. But the reason AM General went with the 6.2 diesel in hmmwvs is parts availability.

Yes, Yanmar makes all the diesels for the John Deere subcompact tractors.
