Sulastic Shackles > Info & User Feedback

Put it on by myself last night.. A few cuts and a chipped tooth later, my truck rides better now.. Took 2 hours doing it by myself and had to drop receiver hitch..

Well, they'd be for my dad. He came to a '06 2500hd from an Avalanche and misses how smooth that was. I'll let you know if he decides on a set.

I miss the Ride of my Av too. I would give damn near anything to have my HD Ride like the Av.

But the biggest thing that made the Av Ride so nice is that Fact it has Coil Springs in the Back VS Leafs on our Trucks.

Yeah, true...the coil springs ride good.

He doesn't expect to have that ride back with this truck but I'd bet he'd like the ride a lot better with some Bilstiens and sulastic shackles. It's a little pricey of an upgrade though so it takes some convincing.

It was well worth the money! A great mod to any truck! Along with the Bilsteins, a drastic improvement in both ride and handling.

Just put them on my 99 about a month ago and definitely worth the money. I have towed the toyhauler twice since they have been installed, and it even rides nicer towing.

^ the thing that worries me is going to the website, they act like they are only designed to last 10 years. maybe roadmaster active suspension is better for me. IDK, gotta do something, the ride sucks on my 95 reg cab.

Yeah, I saw that too. But at 14 years the bushings in my stock shackles are pretty hammered. So If these last 10 years I'll be happy.
