Ok, just crawled under the truck to start this project and ran in to an issue. Nothing bad, but it looks like I will have to remove the hitch to get the bottom bolt out of the shackle. Is that what everyone else has had to do or is there a better way?

woowee. these things are nice! my wife likes them too!!

only took about 2 1/2 hrs to do the whole thing.

I did find out that it is easier to do both sides at one time, not one then the other.

also found that yes, you do have to take the bottom bolts out of the shocks.

also found that you need a deep well 21mm socket and it helps to have either a standard socket or a 21 mm box end wrench.

also good if you have a good floor jack, mine petered out on me towards the end and had to get the jack off the back of the jeep to get the truck off the jack stands.

is there any difference between the 1500/2500/3500 sulastics. a friend of mine has some for a 03 1500 he never put on and said i could have'm. just wonderin' if they're all the same or are they different

ok, no prob there - I thought they were different. just wanted to be sure before installing

thanx nick

Do they make these for mid 90's Chevys? I didn't see a listing on the site for anything older than '99.

How about for a '98 K3500 dually?

Nick,
I am also insterested in a set for my 96 C3500 dually. Can the ones from the later years be used, like you mentioned for the 2500s?

Can any of you guys post pic's or email me so I can see if your trucks may be different. I talked to Sulastic but I have not seen under those years in a while.

Thanks

I got a email back from Sulastic and they say that the 1500/2500 88-99 body style takes the same SA-04 Sulastic. And that they have not had a 3500 88-99 body tried yet so if someone would like to try it I feel pretty sure that it should fit. The product has a money back Guarantee so you are covered if it does not work.

Thanks. Will likely be after the first of the year but this is definately on the to add list. Probably ranks ahead of new computer for the truck.

Nick,
Which one would it be? The SA-04, the SA-04HD, or the SA-04 HDD? They are all listed for the 1999-2008 trucks, not 1988-1999. Thanks.

If I was to try these, it might have to wait until Spring.

I would say SA-04

Well if it will be till then I would say keep in touch and maybe we will find out more. Maybe I can find a local truck to try them on.
