If you have rear heat, could you measure (O.D. is fine) the diameter of the hoses that go to your FRONT heater core? You may or may not have seen my thread about trying to get the rear heat working on my Suburban: http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/showthread.php?t=18064
It's possible that the wrong size hose is being used for the supply line to the front core. Before I go and drain AF and start switching hoses around, I was just looking for some quick clarification. Hopefully this shouldn't take you more than about 2 minutes.
If you can, please measure the outside diameter of both hoses about 4" away from the "T" (I noticed that one of my hoses sizes down after it leaves the T).
For reference, the front core lines are the ones that come off the "T" part (make a 90* turn in the connector). And, the supply line comes from the T-stat housing, where as the return goes to the upper right corner of the radiator.
For more clarification of what to measure, take a look at the link above and go to post #20. Look at the first diagram, #'s 11 & 12.
Thank you very much!
