Strange occurance of a DTC code 35

I put in 1 quart max per tank, so if its not empty, I might just put in 1/2 quart when filling it up. Its not an exact science, 2 quarts would be fine, 1/2 quart is probably enough kind of thing.

Thanks guys, do you prefer 2 stroke or 30 wt? if 30 wt do you use non detergent only?

I use to run 2 Stroke oil, seemed that the OS didn't like the dark blue/purple dye, Never coded, but she was a little rough and a fishbite once in a while......I was told to switch to SAE30 (no dye) and that made all the difference.

-Only non detergent SAE 30- For me anyway

I use 12 oz of walmart 2 cycle oil and 4 oz stanadyne performance additive per 15 gal diesel at fill up, and never had any trouble

DO NOT add Lubro Molly to your diesel with an optical IP. Ever.

SAE30, or a mix of 2-stroke and PS Silver, are the preferred additives.

FWIW, I use the cheapest SAE20 I can buy - it has no additives or detergents in it... just plain old oil.

In the winter time I pre-measure and pre-fill the Power Service White with coresponding amounts of gallons of fuel, I do 1oz sae30 / Gallon (128:1 ratio), with recommended Powerservice amoutns.

Premixing it helps a ton, or you'll be waiting for ever trying to get that oil into yhour tank, and half of it will still be stuck in the bottle. The PS Cuts the cold thick oil into a flowable substance again.

I use a clear 32oz Lucas's Injector cleaner empty container. It has measurements and wide mouth. Of course its alot easier for me as I can just open up a door on the utility body and have a shelf and place to work where I keep all my oils and automotive stuff.

Ever see what regular oil does at 32df or even 0?? Not much of anything... Yet people start up there engines with that thick poo uknowingly... On comparison, a quart of mobil-1 0-40 flows just fine.

I've seen regular 10w not be able to pour out of a 2" barrel bung hole.

Before or after your eyes watered up and froze? Lol man, thats cold!!!! I installed a storm door for someone one morning this year and it was -5f.... that was one cold door.

Makes synthetic oil a no-brainer in any cool or cold climate. Imagine your oilpump trying to pump that oil if it wont even move out of a 2'" bunghole. Lol, bunghole....

...

:blush2:
