Anyone have any opinions/input on STP filters?.....Got one for free with a gallon of Rotella from AZ.

Is it woth using, or are they garbage?

I've been using them for years now and haven't had the first problem with one. I've had a PUROLATOR collapse on me and lose oil pressure, a BOSCH one plugged up and the bypass portion didn't work, and I had the bad typwriter tick out of the DMAX when using WIX filters, but the STP filters have always served me well. IIRC they are still made by DEUTSCH which is a German import, but were relabled as STP as everybody kept calling them dusch filters.
