Still not fixed

Thats what i did, but the starter i put in came off an all original engine. So it is 15 years old, and cranks the engine slow. And with no gp's its haard to get started. My old chinese job cranked the engine over very quickly, but apparently that didnt last long...

So take the selenoid off the 15 year old one and put it on the chinese one.

I cant, like i said earlier it was the starter NOT the solenoid. THe solenoid was working, but the starter fork was jamming, causing a stick on.....

Starters are pretty basic just pull the broken parts off the best one and use the parts off the others to repair it.

Its something with the forks on it... They feel "connected" on the old starter, but on the new one they move freely back and forth from each other. I took the bolt out that the fork pivots on, but it is whatever the forks are connected to that isnt working correctly... I am using the chinese solenoid on the oem starter (broke the stud off the original oem solenoid). So it is working now, so it was something in the case of the other starter. I am going to have it rebuilt somewhere so i can have a spare in case the old one sh!ts the bed, doesnt sound to hot, so im sure it wont last long....
