Steering free play

I don't bother selling them anymore, there is someone on FB using offshore parts for half the cost so I let folks use the cheap crap...
What would it take to get You to do another run on them ? I try to, at all costs, to avoid buying anything from acrost the waters, or the southern border. Canadian border I will as a last resort.
 
How does that work?
It’s a little press. You unthread the nut and put the center piece that looks like a bolt through from the inside. Then the block piece sits on the outside and thread the nut back on. Tighten the nut and it pulls the bolt piece through the slot. 3/8” impact is amazing for this.

The problem with prying out or using an air chisel is you can bend the brackets. Wanna guess how well that works long term?

This is for C trucks?
 
Some of the trucks don’t have a good crease cut in it. So one truck might remove easy and the next can take a bit of a fight. The original tools to do this cost around $100 for the cheap ones and $225 for a good one. And doing this to a truck adds about 20-30 minutes. So they have to charge for the time and to offset the tool cost.
